The key female artists who recorded for Eugene Davis’ Flaming Arrow concern were Nancy Butts and Gloria Walker, but this one-off by Corzette Holly can stand comparison with the best tracks on the label. Holding My Hand is a well constructed ballad with tasty chord changes, and the horn led arrangement works well to. On top of this Corzette has a firm strong delivery and a confident tone. A nice one for sure.
