Tinny & Lum
This hard fiery disc was cut by the exotically named Tinny & Lum Grand Prixs in New York in the early 60s. "You Don't Understand" has a pronounced R&B feel to its structure and arrangement but the passion of the big voiced singers is pure deep soul. The terrific dramatic opening is a splendid scene setter.
